NEEMAR Cancelled

Dear NEMAAR participants,

The NEMAAR Executive Committee met this morning and reached the very difficult decision to cancel this year’s NEMAAR conference due to the uncertainty around COVID 19.  While our host institution, Boston University, has not (yet) officially cancelled outside events, we felt that that situation was likely inevitable.  We were to have a number of participants from schools and institutions that have closed, making institution-sanctioned (and funded) travel difficult, if not impossible.  For those of you who have already registered, I am working with Eventbrite to get refunds processed.

Please know how difficult this decision was for us.  This year promised to have a particularly impressive roster of papers and panels.  We appreciate all the dedicated work you’ve all done to put together what would have been an outstanding conference.   If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me directly.
